These homeowners wanted an open
floor plan that allowed for extensive
indoor/outdoor entertaining areas for
family and friends. The open plan
encompasses the family room, dining
room, kitchen and media room, with a
retractable window/door wall that leads
to the outside. The garage was rebuilt to
accommodate the homeowner’s exotic
car and antique neon sign collection.
The undersized HVAC system was
replaced with a 90 percent efficient
HVAC system, and dual low-E tilt/turn
windows were installed. The masonry
fireplaces were demolished and replaced
with high-efficiency gas fireplaces.
