This sunroom-style addition was built
over a full basement foundation and
added 480 square feet to the home. The
home overlooks a state park, and the
owners wanted a room in which they
can sit and enjoy therapeutic views.

The exterior of the addition has a custom look, with fypon moldings around
the windows and doors. However, the
addition also needed to blend with the
existing home, so the same vinyl siding
used on the house was used on the
gable end. Because access to the right
side of the home (the side on which this
addition was built) was so tight, small
equipment had to be used to construct
the full basement foundation.
