This enclosed porch was too hot in the
summer and too cold in the winter,
rendering it mostly unusable. The challenge was the 5-foot distance from the
front door to grade and working within
the existing structure and roof lines. To
overcome this, the front yard grade was
raised, and new roof trusses and overhangs were hand framed to tie them to
the existing roof lines.

Some of the particular aspects of this
job include: custom-built columns, ceilings
with bead board and crown moldings,
ironwood decking and custom lighting.
The landscaping also was professionally designed. New windows also were
added.
